Anything But Elephants was established in 2005 and is owned and operated by Sheri Lynne Thompson. Sheri lives in Wake Forest with her husband, Alan. At this time they are raising three cats and two dogs.
Sheri has a BS in animal science and a minor in genetics from NCSU. She has raised dogs, cats, birds, small caged animals, and fish. She has experience with farm animals and reptiles as well. And, she has worked/volunteered at animal hospitals and children's summer camps in Florida and North Carolina. Sheri has been pet sitting since her early teens (she used to do this for free!). Sheri also has an AA in accounting.
